Start with a verb
Type a verb and, when needed, an object without a preposition. Press Return to submit: look door, talk man, take oxygenmask, use key, insert card.

Use the full command words
This is a command parser, not a natural-language chat box. Use full words. Compound objects such as oxygenmask, lasergun and keyhole are one word. The input limit is 32 characters, with up to 15 per parsed token.
Messages and movement
When asked to press Return, advance the message separately, then enter your next command at the prompt. Some story events use a submission to advance before an action can run. Items and other scene conditions can also change whether a command succeeds.
Native keypad shortcuts remain available and may echo Japanese direction words. The tested keypad4 shortcut moves left immediately; don’t add Return. Clr Home clears the input line; Del Ins deletes the last character. Japanese Kana input is a separate mode. Toggling mode takes a second key press, not just releasing the key.
Saving your progress
Use the prepared MFI launcher supplied with your tester setup for persistent saves: it retains a writable disk between sessions. The installed MAME D88 driver described in the build notes cannot write saves. Ask for the correct tester setup if you don’t have it; no launcher is downloadable from this page.
The supplied build notes report fresh-process save/load passing with original and English controls. Optional branches and hardware compatibility have not been fully tested.
Observation-room hints (spoilers)
look glass shows the stars; back gives the swimming comparison; knock glass reveals the comet. The next submitted command advances its disappearance. leave asks which exit; left leaves. look window and swim do not substitute for these commands.
What has been checked?
The supplied experimental-build notes report resolver tests for 220 canonical entries and one complete cold-boot English route reaching The End. Those results do not cover every optional path or certify hardware compatibility. The website has not independently rerun these game tests.
